We teach children and young people traditional Georgian dances—an art form with a centuries-old history—imbued with courage, grace, and the joy that comes from music and unity. About us
One studio, many roots — one shared passion
Our studio was founded in 2014 by Anna Chokheli and has since introduced children and young people aged 5 to 16 to Georgia's traditional dances.
Our members come from many different countries. What unites us is our joy in Georgian music and dance, and the value of friendship across all borders.

Traditional Georgian dance courses
Georgian Dance Course for Children / Beginners' Group
Dancing brings joy to children. In the dance studio, children and young people aged 6 and up learn age-appropriate movements tailored to various rhythms and musical styles. Through dance, children improve their coordination and learn to concentrate. Dancing makes people happy.

Georgian dance course for teenagers
Young people from across Hamburg come together at the Georgian dance studio Iberia. Beyond learning Georgian dance, we foster important social values. The young people learn to treat one another with respect, interact with tolerance, and accept the diversity of other people and cultures. In doing so, we convey Georgian culture authentically, bringing together dance, tradition, and community. We thus create a space where young people not only develop their dance skills but also cultivate self-confidence, mutual respect, and tolerance.

Georgian dance course for teenagers
Georgian dance classes offer young people the opportunity to find new motivation and boost their self-confidence through dance projects. At the same time, they foster a sense of rhythm, imagination, body control, and social skills. These abilities come together in a creative and beautiful way through dancing together.

Georgian dance - course for children and young people in Bad Oldeslo
Georgian Dance – Power, Elegance, and Passion Georgian dance is far more than just movement; it uniquely combines aesthetics, power, and expression. Movements that are both elegant and dynamic foster concentration, discipline, body control, and team spirit. Experience an intense workout accompanied by beautiful Georgian music—full of energy, passion, and fire. Georgian dance captivates both body and soul. The course is suitable for children aged 6 and up. No prior experience is required.
Beginner group: Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM; dance class for teenagers: Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

"IBERIA" Ensemble
The "Iberia" ensemble is our pride and success story. We have established our own ensemble as part of the "Iberia" dance studio. To join, children and young people first undergo in-depth training; upon successful completion, they are admitted to the main performing troupe. We are incredibly proud of our ensemble and would be delighted to welcome you to "Iberia"!

Anna Chokheli
Anna Chokheli
Managing Director (Choreographer). Graduated in 1991 from the first experimental children's choreography studio. Experience with the FARCA State Ensemble in Tbilisi. Graduated with a degree in Georgian Philology from the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani State Pedagogical University in Tbilisi. A native Georgian, she founded the Georgian dance course at Elementy Dance.Theater.School in August 2014. In 2016, she founded the Georgian dance studio IBERIA at the Horner Freiheit community center.
